Penderyn Welsh Whisky lands at LJLA
LJLA has a new product for passengers to take advantage of, following the recent arrival of Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whisky at World Duty Free.
The Airbus A380 aircraft, the world’s largest commercial passenger aircraft in service today, is making its North West public debut on Saturday 12th July and will be performing a low flypast at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, before flying along the Mersey estuary en route to the Wirral Show.
All press and media are being offered the unique opportunity to join LJLA’s Air traffic Control team and witness the arrival of this huge aircraft from inside the Airport’s Air Traffic Control tower and film and record controllers talking to the aircraft’s pilots as it passes through the Airport’s airspace and over the runway before departing over the River Mersey.
The A380 is due to arrive at the Airport approximately between 13:15 – 13:30.
Any media wishing to take advantage of this unique opportunity must advise the Airport in advance using the contact details below in order that visitors can be escorted to the Air Traffic Control Centre.
