Low-cost airline, Ryanair, today announced they are adding yet another new route from its Liverpool base boosting the total number of flights from LJLA to 39.

As from 31st October 2007, Ryanair will commence a new service four times a week to the Spanish city of Valencia linking the two cities for the very first time. Situated in the centre of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline, Valencia, is Ryanair’s 11th destination to Spain from LJLA, others include Santander, Santiago, Girona, Reus, Murcia, Granada, Seville, Alicante, Palma.

This news comes just two weeks after Ryanair announced six new destinations Belfast, Budapest, Bydgoszcz, Fuerteventura, Lodz and Tenerife, and two returning ski routes to Grenoble and Salzburg.

Neil Pakey, Managing Director at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, said “We’re delighted to hear Ryanair is linking Liverpool with yet another Spanish City. Valencia will no doubt prove extremely popular outbound as well as attracting inbound tourism as Liverpool approaches its Capital of Culture status in 2008. We welcome this route and North West leisure travellers can look forward to visiting another City whilst taking advantage of Ryanair’s low fares.”

Announcing the new route, Ryanair Deputy Sales & Marketing Manager Elaine Duff said:
“Ryanair is Liverpool’s largest airline, and this new route will further boost holiday and tourism links from John Lennon Airport. Valencia is a fabulous sun destination and we expect the demand for travel to be massive. In addition, Ryanair’s huge brand presence in Spain will ensure the route will be popular with Spanish visitors to Liverpool and the North West.”

To celebrate this new route, Ryanair is giving away 100,000 seats from just £10 and urge passengers to log onto www.ryanair.com immediately, because these low fares will sell out fast.
