Penderyn Welsh Whisky lands at LJLA
LJLA has a new product for passengers to take advantage of, following the recent arrival of Penderyn Single Malt Welsh Whisky at World Duty Free.
The new flights will complement the carrier’s existing network of 3 routes from Liverpool. Flights will be operated from 1st October, 3 times a week.
Wizz Air launched flights to Poland from Liverpool in 2004 and currently operate to the three destinations of Warsaw, Katowice and Gdansk with 12 flights per week and the success of these routes has given the airline the confidence to grow their business from Liverpool.
Tickets are now available on the airline’s website, wizzair.com or through the Wizz Air call centre (+40 3 6440 2000) with fares starting from as low as EUR 19.99 (including taxes and charges) for one-way travel.
Neil Pakey, Liverpool John Lennon Airport’s Managing Director commented, “We are naturally delighted by the continued success of the Wizz Air services from Liverpool since their operations started two and a half years ago. Following Romania’s recent membership of the EU, we expect this route to bring in large numbers of Romanian visitors as we have seen on Wizz Air’s popular Polish services.
This latest addition to the Airport’s network of European routes also links Liverpool with yet another European capital city ahead of 2008 and Liverpool’s Capital of Culture Year.”
