It was Manchester born photographer, Harry Goodwin‘s turn to be on the opposite side of a camera lens today, having his photograph taken with the region’s two Lord Mayors; Liverpool’s Councillor Mike Storey and Manchester’s Councillor Alison Firth at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, who both came to view Harry’s work on display at the Airport.

Harry has been a friend of the Airport’s for some time, with his famous John Lennon and other Beatles images on display in the terminal along with his ‘Legends’ exhibition on permanent display in the Airport departure lounge, featuring Harry’s top 100 renowned icons of the rock and roll era of the 60′s and 70′s as well as sporting stars and celebrities associated with the North West.

Harry was recently presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Lord Mayor of Manchester and a selection of his work is to be used on the Liverpool stand at the forthcoming World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, participation in which is being led by Liverpool Vision in partnership with Liverpool City Council, the Liverpool-Shanghai Partnership and the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA). Harry is even set to have an exhibition displaying 200 of his photographs at the V&A Museum in London later this year.
