World Duty Free yesterday celebrated their Long Service Awards, one of the ways the store uses to say ‘thank you’ for their employees’ loyalty.

Staff who have achieved 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years were all recognised at yesterday’s dinner. With the qualifying staff receving a badge and an invitation to World Duty Free’s annual celebration lunch.

This year’s meal took place at Damon’s Restaurant and the following staff were recognised (a combined total of 65 years service):

  • Sharon Addison = 10 years.
  • Ian Cave = 15 years.
  • Pamela Sharkey = 15 years.
  • Carol Jones = 10 years.
  • Dianne Oakes = 5 years.
  • Denise Stevenson = 5 years.
  • Sally Jackson = 5 years (unable to make the meal).

David Smith, Store Manager for World Duty Free at Liverpool John Lennon Airport said:

“It’s great to recognise the loyalty and commitment of World Duty Free team members in this way, particularly as they are integral to making the shopping experience a very special part of every customer’s journey at Liverpool Airport.”
