For those looking to make a last minute impression on their loved one though, there are some great deals still to be had on flights closer to home with Ryanair to Ireland with a choice of departures to Dublin, Cork and Shannon as well as to great value destinations in Spain too.

Activities will include a local DJ on hand to play a selection of famous love songs, retailers will have various Valentine’s Day themed promotions for passengers and there will even be the chance for one lucky couple to win return flights to Gran Canaria from Liverpool, courtesy of Ryanair.
