Over the next few weeks Channel 5 will be filming at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Channel 5 has authorised the production company Plimsoll to conduct the filming around the airport. It will be a warm hearted documentary centred on the airport and its passengers, which will capture how a holiday really begins when you arrive at the airport.

The Channel 5 documentary will cover a wide variety of instances within the airport: It will follow passengers on their journeys, their interactions with the staff; everyday life for the people working at the airport and their views; the expansion and changes to the airport plus much more.

The filming is already underway, we understand that not everybody wants to be on camera so we ask that you let us know before you arrive at Liverpool John Lennon Airport or while you are at the airport you can let a member of staff know and they will ensure you will not be filmed.

Filming will continue until April/May 2015 with the documentary due to be aired in June.
