Liverpool John Lennon Airport recorded its seventh consecutive month of growth during August, with year on year passenger growth of 7.24%. Total passengers for August were over 471,000. Increases in available seat capacity and strong Load Factor performance have contributed to the impressive growth this year.

Looking ahead, Liverpool Airport will inaugurate three more new scheduled routes in the next two months. Multi-sector flying to Amsterdam with Flybe will commence September 7th, whilst during October, Aer Lingus will begin a new double daily service to Dublin connecting to North America and Flybe will begin a daily service to Edinburgh.
The airport continues to look to develop its route portfolio with existing and new partners as the airport continues to serve passengers and airlines across the North West.
