As you approach Liverpool Airport on Speke Hall Avenue, you should use the right-hand lane to turn right at the roundabout using the third exit. The Drop Off 2 car park is well signed posted.

From Liverpool Airport’s Drop Off 2 car park, there is a 8-10 minute walk to the terminal building. We advise that you leave plenty of time for the walk to the terminal building and if you plan to stay  for more than 40 minutes then you may be better off parking in the Short Stay car park. If you would prefer a more convenient drop-off car park which is closer to the terminal, then please use the Express Drop Off car park. The Drop Off 2 car park is designed for drop offs and pick-ups rather than long-term parking.

What do I need to do when I enter the Drop Off 2 car park?

When you arrive at Liverpool Airport car park, take the third exit off the roundabout and follow the second road on the right to the Drop Off 2 car park. Once you have entered the car park, simply follow the road markings and find any free parking bay.

Does the Drop Off 2 car park have disabled parking?

Blue Badge holders can use the Express Drop Off car park, which is across the road from the terminal, for up to 40 minutes for free. To claim your free parking, you must take your Blue Badge to the car park kiosk which is located on the ground floor of the Multi-Storey car park to obtain a validated exit ticket. What is the Red Route zone?

Liverpool John Lennon Airport operates Red Route no stopping zones. This is to ensure the safety and security of everyone visiting the airport. The Red Route no stopping zone is clearly marked by double red lines and there are a number of clear signs along the route. It is a parking offence to stop on the Red Route no stopping zone.

If you have booked your car parking online in advance, all you’ll need to do is drive up to the barrier and the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) will recognise your car registration, issue you with a ticket and the barrier will lift once you have taken this ticket.

The Long Stay car park is only between a 1 and 5 minute walk to the airport terminal. There are several zones in this car park arranged by letters (A-K). If having trouble finding a space, please follow signs for zones F-K. The walk from here to the terminal is 5 minutes and there is always space available here.

What happens if my returning flight is cancelled or delayed?

If your flight is delayed or cancelled, and you know you will not return before your allotted parking time runs out, you will have to pay an overstay rate. The overstay rate at in Long Stay car park is £15 per day or part thereof. If you need to amend your booking prior to entering the car park you can do so by using our ‘Manage My Booking’ tool online. You can also pay your overstay rates at one of the pay terminals, which are located on the ground floor of the Multi-Storey car park. Simply insert the ticket that was issued on your entry to the car park into one of the pay terminals and follow the onscreen instructions.

The car park can be located by turning left off the dual carriageway as you approach the terminal building, onto Dunlop Road, following the green signs for RVP.  After half a mile, turn right, following signs for Fast Track Parking.

Can I only book the Family Fast Track car park online?

It is only possible to book Family Fast Track online. You can save up to 70% on standard prices if you pre-book your airport car parking in advance.
