FAQs

Special Assistance and Assisted Travel

Liverpool John Lennon Airport welcomes passengers requiring assistance travelling through our Airport.

Autism Awareness

If you or someone you are travelling with has Autism or ASD, we offer a Butterfly Flyer if you wish to pass though the terminal independently.  A copy of the Butterfly Flyer is a visual aid to airport colleagues to offer assistance, extra time and clear directions as and if required.

We will always suggest requesting Special Assistance when making your reservation even if you think you may not need it.  Booking assistance with your airline or travel planner before you travel means that Assistance colleagues at departure and arrival airports and crew members in flight are aware that you may need additional help during your journey.
