Our Work with Liverpool John Moores University
Working closely with Liverpool John Moore’s University (LJMU), Liverpool Airport provide career advice to undergraduate students who are in their final year of their degree programme.
Once part of their university offering, LJMU offered the 'World of Work Skills Certificate' to deliver career development services that are co-developed and co-delivered with employers and integrated into the curriculum. Liverpool Airport partnered with the University on this project through holding mock Interviews with students, as part of their Career development.
Five LJLA Colleagues take part in mock interviews throughout the year with students, providing one-on-one feedback preparing undergraduates for any interviews they may face on their graduation.
Each student carrying out the interview stage of their World of Work programme achieved their qualification on their graduation, which has helped students in both their personal and professional development.
